My Thoughts
It did take me a couple chapters to really get into, but that was probably just the migraine that I was dealing with because once I got over that, I flew through the pages and read the majority of it in one day. It's such a thrilling read. The very definition of unputdownable.
I thought the time travel was handled in a really fascinating way. It was easy to understand and so compelling to read about. And the consequences for changing the past? Oh my! It creates quite a predicament. I'm very interested to see how things play out from here.
I'm so invested in this story and Rem's journey. I'm glad there's not a long wait for the next book because although this mystery was solved, there's a bigger story at play here that leaves this novel on quite a big cliffhanger.
4.5 Stars
Good to know about the cliffhanger ending; think I'll wait until the second book is out before reading this one. (But I love that his first name is Rembrandt!)
ReplyDeleteLuckily each book will be released every second month so not long to wait!
DeleteI'm so glad the books are coming out every other month and that the whole series will be released this year. I can't imagine waiting any longer for them, lol. And I love his name, too, Lark. It's so cool and fits him perfectly. :D
DeleteCan't wait for book2!
ReplyDeleteMe too! April 6 can't come soon enough. :D
