When an undercover mission goes awry, Madi's told to lay low for awhile. So she heads home for her brother's wedding and is accompanied by her partner Brice acting as her bodyguard. The stakes are high and with their attraction for one another growing stronger, will they be able to let their guard down and trust each other with their hearts?

To Gain a Bodyguard was SO GOOD! But that's not a big surprise coming from author Tanya Eavenson. Her books are full of so much heart and strong themes of faith. I always come away with a smile on my face. The characters in this novella were super likeable. Madi's a strong and determined woman. Her faith and the way she trusted and leaned on God was inspiring. Brice is such a great and caring guy. His protectiveness toward Madi was sweet. The chemistry between them was strong. And I really enjoyed getting to catch up with Patrick, Amabelle, and Abby from To Gain a Valentine.

I devoured this novella and read it as quickly as possible. I was so wrapped up in Madi and Brice's story that the real world faded away. I can't say enough good things about it. I'd love to read even more about them and see what adventures they encounter next. I highly, highly recommend!
