Review: Love's Healing Touch by Autumn Macarthur

About the Book

Are some wounds too deep for love to heal?

When nurse Lainie Sullivan’s beloved father dies, she vows to fulfil his retirement ambition — to visit each of the mainland US states on his vintage motorcycle, raising funds for cancer care. But an overnight stop in Sweet Grove, Texas, could stretch into weeks as she waits for repairs on her motorcycle.

The warm welcome and uncomplicated faith of the townsfolk make this place feel like home, healing her faith — and her heart. As does working on her bike with Adam Davis, a wounded warrior she nursed in the military hospital.

But for Adam, a war still rages, as he battles survivor guilt, anger with God, and adapting to the life-long effects of his injuries. His worst scars aren’t the ones on his body but the ones on his heart and soul.

Will Lainie’s love and faith be enough to help him heal, when soon she’ll be moving on?

An emotional story of love, faith, healing, and finding new purpose set in the small Texan town of Sweet Grove, from a USA Today bestselling author. Clean, sweet, and wholesome Christian inspirational romance.

My Review

Four Stars

Love's Healing Touch was my first visit to Sweet Grove, Texas and also, my first book by Autumn Macarthur. It was a very touching and heartwarming story that I greatly enjoyed.

This was a quick read where I was instantly drawn into the characters lives. Adam and Lainie are dealing with a lot. Both are struggling with their faith and have lost trust in God. It was so wonderful to watch their growth and their journey on the way to healing. They were such realistic and authentic characters, it was easy to root for them. The connection and chemistry they had was great!

If you're looking for a sweet and uplifting story, Love's Healing Touch is the book for you. I'm really looking forward to reading more from Macarthur!

I won this book in a giveaway. All thoughts and comments are my own honest opinion.
