Review: Outbreak (Nightshades #3) by Melissa F. Olson

About the Book
Melissa F. Olson's thrilling FBI vampire procedural Nightshades series concludes with Outbreak

The Chicago field office of the Bureau of Preternatural Investigation is facing its deadliest challenge, yet—internal investigation! Alex and Lindy are on the hook, and on the run.

But when all of the BPI’s captive vampires are broken free from their maximum security prison, and Hector finally steps out of the shadows, Alex must use every trick to stay ahead of both the BPI and the world’s most dangerous shade.

Confrontation is inevitable. Success is not.

My Thoughts

Outbreak picks up right where Switchback left off. The action starts from the very first page and doesn't let up. It's the most fast paced and quickest read of the entire series. It sure left me trying to catch my breath on numerous occasions. My anxiety was high, y'all!

I'm sad that this is the conclusion to the series. I've really enjoyed all three of the stories and don't want to say goodbye to these characters. Everything wrapped up quite well, but I definitely wouldn't mind more stories featuring Alex and Lindy.

NOTE: This book does contain strong language

Five Stars

  1. I'm always sad when a good series ends, but at least things wrapped up well. :)
